In a well-ventilated area, air dry paint away from children and pets. Add absorbent materials, such as shredded newspaper or kitty litter and allow to dry completely. Some home improvement stores sell an inexpensive paint hardener (check your local stores). Once the paint has solidified in the can, throw the can, paint and lid (still removed) in with your regular trash. You can also donate "good" leftover paint to local community groups, theater groups, schools, churches and others who need or want it. You may even be able to take a tax deduction. Your local Habit for Humanity Re-Store will also accept good, used paint.
