Certain household products can be toxic to the environment if not disposed of properly. Remember, NEVER pour these products down the drain, into the storm sewer, or onto property. Categories of consumer products that may be considered household hazardous waste include: automotive products, paints and solvents, pesticides, lawn care products, pool chemicals and hobby and craft materials. If these cannot be recycled, they can be disposed of properly by taking them to a Delaware, Knox, Marion, Morrow Solid Waste District Household Hazardous Waste event. A suggested donation of $5 per car and pick-up or $10 per large truck or pick-up with trailer is appreciated. For more information about the event, please see the Household Hazardous Waste link.
