GRANTS

DKMM offers several different funding opportunities to reduce the amount of waste reaching our landfills.

DKMM Tire Grant - To assist municipalities (and now government and non-profit entities) in holding residential tire collection events. Collections can be held in conjunction with community clean-up days or as a stand-alone event. Applications must be received by the DKMM office by 2:00 p.m. on January 15, 2027. Waste Study Implementation Grant - To encourage waste reduction programs in schools, business, industries, governments, and not-for-profit.

Ohio EPA offers a separate program that supports communities, and businesses that wish to start or improve sustainable materials management and spur economic growth.
