Latex - Residents are encouraged to dry latex paint in the can by placing kitty litter, or paint hardener in the can. Stir until no liquid remains. Once completely dry, leave the lid off the can and place it in with your regular trash. If you are unable to dry your paint, up to ten cans are accepted at District sponsored household hazardous waste collections for a fee. Please click here for additional details.

It’s easiest to leave your tires at the shop when purchasing new tires. If you do find yourself with a couple of tires, the following locations will take a small number of tires for a fee when they have space available. If you have more than ten tires, you must make arrangements with a state certified tire hauler for the legal transportation of your tires to a recycling facility.
